The remarkable season by Feather River College sophomore outside hitter Chloe Albiez continues as she along with Mt. San Antonio sophomore libero Mayah Tiscareno and Pasadena City freshman middle blocker Delaney Blied have been selected as CCCWVCA State Players of the Week #3.
The 6-foot Albiez earned the award for the second time in three weeks after her MVP performance in helping Feather River win the 16-team, Delta Classic championship on Sept. 5-6. Named AVCA National 2-Year College Player of the Week in the opening week of the young season, she totaled 68 kills, 39 digs, and served nine aces in four Golden Knights victories over the weekend.
Albiez delivered 22 kills, 11 digs, two blocks and two aces in FRC's title match, 4-set win over Fresno City. Albiez is from Trinity High in Weaverville.
